Norway and Iceland

Under the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement, Norway and Iceland have the same status as EU Member States. Border controls of food imports from countries outside the EU are therefore conducted in Norway and Iceland just as they would be were these countries Member States. Foodstuffs entering Sweden from Norway and Iceland are therefore not subject to border controls in Sweden.
